Amsterdam Schiphol Airport offers various types of parking facilities that are tailored to your needs. All parking spaces are guarded with camera security and through surveillance over the various parking lots. The use of the parking facilities is at your own risk.

Short term parking

Short term parking is handy for picking up or bringing passengers to the airport. Short term parking is located at P1 and P2 which is situated near the terminal building. The cost of parking depends on the length of your stay and rates start at € 2.00 for the first half hour. The rates are calculated per half hour for the first three hours of your stay. If you park your car for longer than three hours the rates are calculated per hour. It is not possible to reserve any of these parking spaces. If you expect that you will need to be parked for a longer time, then it is cheaper to park in long term parking.

Long term parking – Park and Travel 3

Long term parking at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is located at P3. P3 is shown on traffic signs near the airport as ‘lang parkeren’. There is a complimentary shuttle service from the parking lot to the terminal building. The rates start at € 50.00 for the first three days. For each additional day that you remain parked you will be billed € 6.50 extra. If you reserve a parking space in advance you will be able to make use of a cheaper rate. The cost for the first three days is € 48.50 and € 5.50 for each additional day.

Long term parking – Schiphol Smart Parking

If you reserve a parking space at Schiphol Smart Parking you will be able to profit from an even lower rate. To make use of these spaces you will need to reserve in advance with a minimum of three days before you make use of the parking space.

Valet Parking and Privium

With Schiphol Valet parking you can drop your car off in front of the terminal building. After arrival, you can drop your car keys of at the service desk located in the terminal building. Valet parking makes use of indoor parking and is guarded. If you are a member of Schiphol Privium then you can make use of specially reserved parking spaces located in P1, P2 and P3. These spaces have premium locations and are located nearer the exit reducing your travel time.

Payment

Payments can be made through the machines that are situated near the various parking lots. The machines accept all valid forms of payment. If you have a credit card, it can be used when entering the parking lot by introducing it into the teller at the gate. Once you leave the airport you do not need to go to the payment machines but can use your card to leave the parking area.
